At the park with baby: here's what to take.

Sunny summer days are here, and an excellent place to visit is in the park. Here is a comprehensive list of everything you should bring with you to ensure you don't miss anything once you arrive.

For cleanliness and safety

Babies, as you undoubtedly know, get dirty quickly. Always have something readily available to wipe them off (baby wipes or diapers), Kleenex, and a small refillable bottle filled with water or micellar solution on hand.

A mineral water sprayer may also be added to the list, helping you to massage your stains roughly with your wet wipe or cool your baby in the event of heatstroke.

Include a foldable, thin changing mat for changing, which will provide sanitary insulation while the baby sleeps on the grass or sand, as well as protecting the stroller cloth from any urinary leaks if you place it on it. The remainder will be taken care of by a limited supply of diapers and an appropriate cleaner (cotton and water). Don't forget to consider an insulated container or bag to dispose of the dirty diaper while you look for a trash bin.

Finally, even on cloudy days, think about sunscreen to protect your children from UV radiation, which is hazardous to sensitive skin. They are now available in compact containers, which are ideal for visits to the park.

To avoid sunstroke, make sure he/she has a little hat or scarf tied over his head. It all depends on your baby's age when it comes to glasses, as toddlers have a hard time putting up with those dark spectacles that you want to push in front of their eyes. It would be preferable to leave them protected under the stroller's umbrella.

For small appetites

If the baby is still in the sitting position, you are predisposed to succeed. Consider using a wide swaddle or scarf to feed your child in complete modesty while still providing him with serenity and comfort.

If the infant is in a bottle, take it pre-dispensed with powdered milk, along with a tiny bottle of easy-to-pour mineral water to reconstitute the milk.

If your child has already made the switch to organic food, proceed with caution. Take small resealable jars to avoid having half of your meal on your hands, micro-gourds pre-filled with mash or compote, small portions, biscuits in individual zip lock bags. Lighten up as much as possible to prevent having to return home with food leftovers that have not been stored properly.

In any case, keep a bib in mind to avoid stains on clothing.

For awakening and games

Everything here is determined based on your child's age. A baby can spend hours watching the leaves rustle in the wind, so bring a few bright toys to hang from their pram to offer them something to touch if they wish.

When the child is a little older, he or she may want sand games (bucket, shovel, rake) or small everyday objects that you will repurpose to make new toys: small water bottle to fill with sand, mini plastic tray repurposed into a treasure hiding place. Children will not lack the imagination to create on their own.

Finally, keep one or two disposable bags on hand to separate anything that needs to be thrown away (packaging, handkerchiefs, etc.) from soiled garments and bibs that need to be washed.

I hope this helps on your next day at the park. You're all set to go!
